DSPs, Gigachips & Internet
Made for Each Other

The explosive growth of internet is pulling a whole new revolution in communications and lifestyle changes, fueled by the capabilities of Gigachip VLSI and Digital Processing Solutions. As more and more people around the world get connected, and the promise of multimedia over the net emerges, the demand for bandwidth seems insatiable.

Digital Signal Processing Solutions are enabling technologies like XDSL, gigabit ethernet and ATM backbones needed to supply this demand. The semiconductor technology is marching into the gigachip era to continue exponential reduction in price performance to enable this revolution to continue.

We will discuss the key technology trends that are driving continued emergence of the global networked society.
