Rice University
Computer Engineering
We are engaged in leading-edge research in a
wide variey of areas, including computer architecture, parallel
and distributed computing, special purpose VLSI
architectures, computer systems performance evaluation techniques,
and parallel I/O.
Faculty and graduate students work closely with the
Computer Systems Group
in the Department of Computer Science,
the systems group in ECE, and also conduct joint research with
other groups around the world. Excellent
computing resources, collaboration opportunities, and an
increasing visibility through
publications and industrial partnerships are a few of the factors
that provide an exciting
and dynamic research environment for computer engineering graduate
students and faculty.
