Listening Instructions:

You will be played a sequence of 30 different wave filles. Each file contains six bursts of white noise. The first two bursts are unfiltered and will sound like they are originating from inside your head. The last four bursts are filtered versions of the white noise that will sound like they are originating from a location that is external to your head. Each of the last four noise bursts are originating from the same location. Your goal is to accurately determine the location of the last four noise bursts.

You are to identify the location of the last four noise bursts by giving two angles, one for elevation and one for azimuth. The coordinate system used to measure the angles of azimuth and elevation is described in the picture below. You can choose from -90, -60, -30, 0, 30, 60, and 90 for azimuth and from -40, 0, 40, and 80 for elevation. You may ask to listen to each wave file a maximum of two times. If you have any questions please ask them now.
