ELEC 242 Lab
Introduction
In Lab 9 we built the major components of our television system:
the camera and the viewer.
Unfortunately
the viewer is directly attached to the camera and
we can only view what our own camera is pointed at.
We've got the "vision" but no "tele".
This week we will
make the additions
necessary to allow the video
signal from one camera to be displayed on a different viewer.
This consists primarilly of circuitry to
synchronize
the disk of the receiver with that of the camera
so that the scanned spot will be in the same place in both the
transmitted and received images.
When we're done, this is what the system will look like:
and
are the camera video output and receiver
video input signals that we saw last time.
and
are the camera sync output and
receiver sync input which are the major subject of today's Lab.
