I am currently a researcher at Compaq Western Research Labs, Palo
Alto. I finished my Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical
and Computer engineering at Rice
University in 2000.
My advisor was Dr. Sarita Adve.
My broad research interests are in low-power system design, computer

Welcome
to my web page. I am from the south Indian city of Chennai
(formerly Madras). I did my schooling at Padma
Seshadri Bala Bhavan (K. K. Nagar), and followed it up with a Bachelor's
degree in EE at the Indian
Institute of Technology, Madras in 1994. I completed my Master's and
Ph.D. degrees
in computer engineering at Rice University
